Hello out there!
It's still late winter here in NH, not time for chicks to arrive yet. I am looking for some hatched day old chicks of the German line NH chicken, for arrival here in NH between late April and mid May. Or when you can get them here! Give or take a dozen chicks would be great...
I am just sort of jumping in here without reading through 14 pages of replies. I have never built this design, not yet anyway, but since the day I found this video I put it on my bucket list for the next coop. Looks simple enough, the wood pieces need to be similar but not identical in all ways.
Hi everyone!
I too, am looking for a few German line NH chicks. I tried hatching eggs this spring but only 2 survived to hatch (currently 2 days old) I was hoping for 6-8 straight run out of 16 eggs. Please if anyone can help me out, with even a trio of chicks, that would be great. PM...

Mistaken belief's regarding live trapping
Many people live trap animals and then drive them several miles away and release them. The idea being this is an act of humane kindness, a much better outcome than killing the animal. But if one takes the time to do a bit of research, reality starts to...
It has to start with a solidly built coop. I realize that not all people have good carpentry skills, but there is no excuse for repeated entry in to a flock's roosting place by the same critters. It isn't difficult to secure a coop. All coops should have a fully enclosed run too, so that you...
