    Help identify breed

Sorry, I’m new to owning chickens, so I’m not sure how to tell different comb types. These were from Meyers Hatchery and we’re in the assortment of “rare breeds” if that helps at all. I can get a new picture if needed. These were at two weeks old, they are three weeks old now.

    Help identify breed

Can anyone identify two of my chicks? Have the others identified, but unsure on these two. Thank you.

    New chicks arrived today!

We ordered an assortment of 10 “rare breeds” from Meyer Hatchery. Chicks hatched yesterday and got a call from the post office just after lunch today saying they arrived - unbelievably quick. Unfortunately we had one that did not make it.

    Ideas to make run safer

Where are you from? I had a hard time finding hardware cloth as well recently. Ended up finding it at AgriSupply for cheaper than anywhere else.

    My first coop build!

Hello All! I'm new here and will be a new chicken owner at the end of the month. With the quarantine, I decided it was time to get my coop going and order some chics. I ordered 10 hens from Meyer's Hatchery. They will be going in our new 8x16 coop. Construction has taken about a week of full...

    plans similar to Carolina Coop

In the process of building one now. It is a 8x16. Cost will be around $1,200. Has taken a few weeks to complete. Sorry I can’t help with plans, I did most of the work from my head and figuring it out along the way.
