Hi everyone
I'm looking for some help other than hearing "just put it in the stew pot" We are so close to our girls and boy.
We have a 1 year old Rooster who seems to have gotten quite aggressive, we have raised him from a day old and he has been fine up until about 2 months ago. We have tried...
The crop is hard it almost feels like a hockey Puck and yes to the smell too. But she isn't holding her head up at all is this a symptom too. Ok so we have massaged and gave her the oil stuff I guess it's a waiting game now.
The diarrhea was more liquid I guess than what normal would look like.
Thanks for the info. yes for the crop. She has just had a lot of diarrhea like this minute we were massaging her neck and her gullet/crop and she kept burping so something is moving but not sure if we're winning or not.
She is one of our favorites and it's absolutely heartbreaking to see her...
So we found out that she might have a blocked crop where she has been eating but not drinking water and it has either just not digested and/or gone sour so we have been told to give her a strong mix of apple cider vinegar with water and massage regularly
I'm not positive I just looked through some symptoms so I could be completely off. But I am very concerned that she hasn't pooped yet like all day. We have took her into our house and set her up, just given her fluids and keeping an eye on her and hope for the best.
Ok so I'm thinking she may have crooked neck! She has went from occasionally lifting her head to not really. What can I do to fix it, and does this come on suddenly she was fine yesterday, no paleness, no pain nothing. Did I miss something?
Thank you. We had one very similar that unfortunately we had to put down a couple of days ago and we thought that she had fallen off her perch when sleeping (apparently that's not so rare) but now we're not so sure she seems to be occasionally lifting her head and is letting us give her liquids...
We have a little speckled Sussex who we found not walking, has a large gullet no signe of trauma, bugs or pecking she is responding to touch on her feet but no able to hold her body up and her neck droops.
Can anyone help please
Thanks in advance
Fiona
