    Steve Jobs dead at 56

    He was a brilliant man and a true visionary. Hard to imagine Apple without him. I converted to everything Apple a few years ago and never looked back. My heart goes out to his family, friends and colleagues. RIP

    Chicken names. Post them here!

    My kids named ours: Reese (an EE) - "Because he looked like a Reese's Peanut Butter cup" and Kelly (a BO) "Named after our favorite place to eat breakfast, duh mom" I would use classic literature characters if I had my choice....hmmm...maybe I should get more chicks....

    Hello from Western Washington!

    New to BYC and new to chickens. I have been stalking your site for quite awhile. Lots of great ideas and help as well as nice people. Finally pulled the trigger and got two chicks at wilco 4 weeks ago (for the kids, wink wink). Wish now I had picked up a few more (darn chicken math!)...
