    Best cover for the run

    We have a very large run (about 30x30). I am needing advice about what would be the best material to put down. The run is a muddy mess and rather large so cost may be an issue, I have been considering pea gravel. Thoughts?

    What breed?

    I was given 5 Star pullets, however, three have turned out to be Roos. One of the boys' color pattern isn't consistent to star or golden comet. Any guesses? Also, this has left me with four girls and three boys. Will my girls be ok? Thank you.

    Thank you fshingirl. I guess I was just holding out hope. I live in a subdivision so Roos are off limits.

    Thank you Mountain Peeps. I had a feeling we had lots of boys.. I wish I could keep them, they are so much fun! Hopefully the place where we bought them will let me exchange them . I really love this site, it is soooo helpful. Thank you for commenting.

    We purchased these sweeties from a small country store. The guy told us that they were a comet hybrid of some sort. Just curious if anyone has any info on breed or sex. They are 3 weeks old. Thanks!
