    2.30 today my first egg arrived from mavis albeit it's very small but im so pleased i can't stop smiling lol.... she laid it right next to the rubber egg i placed in the nest box...... doris was stood watching her the whole time so i hope she was taking notes and will lay her first one real...

    None of my hens have started laying yet although they are sqatting and one is singing in the afternoons lol.. and it was a morning poo she let it rip as soon as i let them out of the coop lisa x

    Thanks for the reply.... Argh well I think the poultry farm must have known I was new to it all and told me a load of old cobblers which i took as the truth as i didn't know any better.... They both have the beetle green sheen to there feathers.... thanks again for helping me out and i look...
