    What do you have in your flock?

    I have lots of silkies, cochins (bantam), sizzles, sultans, polish, easter eggers, and a few other mixed breeds.

    I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :) I am REALLY REALLY good at hatching out all roosters. I hatched out 22 roosters out of 30 eggs. So overwhelmed now, lol.

    last one is definitely a male. If their combs turn red soon, then the other two might be males, too.

    What treat did your chickies get today?

    I tried to make fermented feed with quinoa, pumpkin seeds, corn, wheat, sesame seeds, millet, and whole oats and that was a definite hit. The smell makes me nauseous (pregnant) so I am not sure I am going to open the jar again, but it was a hit for the 30 seconds it lasted.
