That's so wonderful that you rehomed your rooster. I didn't have that good of luck last summer with mine. I'm trying to sell a buff orpington and an easter egger. I'm one over my limit and the orpington is pretty noisy, so I decided she should be the one that goes. I wanted her to have a pal...

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to advertise laying hens for sale? I listed in the KSL and on a local FB group. I'd love to find a good home for my chickens and am concerned about how to do that. When I tried to sell my rooster, I didn't have much luck. Just curious if anyone has a go...

Yes, but it was a wild goose chase. One was a "rescue" and I went to the address, which turned out to be a small house with no yard. There were small children there, but the woman I had communicated with had stepped out, even though I had told her when I would be there. The other one texted me...

Hello all, I'm new here. I just got my first four chicks in March, and my buff orpington turned out to be a rooster. He's my most friendly chicken, but, of course, I can't keep him. If anyone out there wants this sweet 4 month old rooster, I'd love to hear from you! I've been trying to find him...
