12 days old and had to move the rambunctious chicks outside yesterday. I did not check on them last night, just checked to make sure the light was on on the heating pad (honest).
When I checked on them this morning, none were under it and they all looked at me like "what?"

Was "gifted" a rooster a few months ago and chicken math seems to have taken over. Still learning but I'm a follower of KISS and so glad I found this thread.
I frequently take in backyarders 2 yr old pets that stop laying. I let them free range and weed and many start laying every other day so it's good. Some don't so after a couple of month I process them.
Did up a couple today and this one had a Surprise. I have no idea as to it's parentage.

No problem , I guess you can't tell but that is a slip cover on the heating pad and that is what the press and seal is stuck to, It's replaceable.
But I will be removing it before its next use.
