    Titan Heating Plate

    It says to set the plate where the chickens can sit and the brooder plate touches their backs. I have the titan but it doesn’t seem warm enough to me. I have 14 chicks and they are in a large tote I havre a heat lamp above and have the titan in there too What should I do ?

    Too much protein?

    I worry with 20% protein that my chickens will get kidney disease. I like getting more eggs daily but not at the expense of my hens dying earlier. I think I’ll go back to 16-18 % personally

    Try feather fixer. It’s 20% protein and won’t hurt your rooster bc no extra calcium Just offer oyster shells in separate bowls

    will a hen lay if I try and watch her

    Mine stay in the box a very long time after laying. Like maybe an hour ! These are first time EE. They stay the longest. My adults typically stay maybe 15 min.
