    Official BYC Poll: Do You Wear a Mask or Respirator When Cleaning Your Coop?

    I built my coop with 6 access doors so I can clean monthly with a rake and broom from outside. When I go in the big door to fully clean every 3 months I do wear a mask.

    Solid black “barred rock”

    Ok, I asked the gal I got them from, the rooster is a Blue Andalusian (he is gorgeous!), one of the hens is too. That is too bad all the barred chicks are males, I really can only keep one rooster. I have 5 hens and adding this group of 3 black ones, 1 rooster is plenty.

    Solid black “barred rock”

    These 2 (I got 3 out of 8 looking like this) had small white patch under chin now gone at 7 weeks. Hens were all barred rock, rooster was a blue something(?).
