    Looks like a sinus infection to me. Try tylan. You can get medicated feed or injectable. Please keep us posted on her health.

    I had to post my Duh moment concerning my "Salmon" Faverolle hens. I thought I had done something wrong when I bred my last batch. All the hens turned out a darker red color. I felt this way for over a year and didn't breed the hens because I didn't want to pass on this gene. Come to find out...

    It may be an infection that has healed over. That is why you didn't see any cuts in her mouth. You could try warm compresses to bring any infection to a head. I had a hen with the same thing. Make sure you get the infection out. Penn G will take care of the rest.
