silkie all the way, iv'e bee doing reserch on them (as they are my... DREAM CHICKEN!!!!!!)

they have a coop out side, we are already going to put a tarp over the coop. We have 1 heating lamp, but it is REALLLLY bad.. my cornish hens are actully still chicks.... but you can tell their gender. the buff orpington usually acts as the mom....

Take the roos and hold them in front of eachother,
do that for a time piriod every day, throw in some
extra pireods if you want.this gets them to get

well, I babysitted with some of my friends chickens and she had some of those type of chickens. the hens were a year old, weighed about 6 pounds. If anything the time you should start introudusing the rooster will be any time a year and older.(i know this becuase of research of them) and that...
well for each 12 hens you have, you need one rooster.so he might not mate with the others becuase it's to much for him.
