    mixed breeds

    I have one white leghorn rooster, and 10 hens (r.i. reds, barred rocks, americanas, buffs, white laced wyandottes). We would like to let some of the fertilized eggs hatch. Is that a good idea? they would be "mutts" right? why? or why not?
