    This is our first winter with our chickens, we have a insulated coop and a portable heater if needed. We usually get lots and lots of snow, our temps average in the -30C but drop to -40 to -50C with the windchill.

    I thought mine would be the same, since we feed only raw meat diet to our dogs, they love chicken LOL but so far they haven't harmed any, now if they could only catch the squirrel they've been after all summer, that would be a different story ha ha!

    Hi....they are better then we expected, they are curious, but they haven't chased any...yet. We don't leave them alone with the chickens, they are only around them when we are there.
