Recently took these on as they had nowhere to go. Link to a couple pictures and videos. I have 2 Warrens Hens already and 2 of the new ones look very similar to those but not the same. They are a bit wider and not as upright.

That's good. I'll try and find some as I'm in the UK it looks a bit harder to find! I am just worried there is something else going on and it's not just mites.

Hi I think I am dealing with Mites and Lice and this has perhaps caused an infected prenial gland. I have 3 chickens looking a bit rough, pictures of 2 here. Only one has it really bad and it's mainly around the prenial gland. So I assume the glands now infected/ has been irritated due to...

Any ideas? I did think it was ingrown feather but now I'm questioning it. Happy to lance it or pull out the feathers out if they are ingrown.

SHE'S COMMING HOME WITH ME. No bone issue. Mass of crud feather mixed with a cut and all sorts. He said I got a good few layers off but just wasn't tough enough. Nothing much needed daily wash phsyio and antiseptic he wants a video call Friday to watch her walk. I'm soooo happy

I've just sent a couple of pictures to my vet down the road. See what he thinks and will go from there. Thanks guys 😊

Pretty convinced it's bone like you said. Hard to see anything else it could be. Let me know if I should check anything else. If that is the case any options for it or should I put her down?

Got to the bottom of it. Seems she's broken / twisted her leg the scab is bone sticking out, which is why her leg goes the wrong way. In case anyone was interested.

Had a good look at the tendon and rolling it back but it doesn't seem to be the problem. It seems its frin the scabbing or whatever that is sticking out. It rubs when she tries to walk at the back forcing her leg out a bit. She's got a little patch of missing feather where it's rubbed. Will...

We thought it was a slipped tendon and tried putting it back but not luck. I will take another look at that. We have some vet wrap arriving tomorrow so hopefully can fix up the banding better. Worried its a rotated femur. The weird scab thing is also throwing me off. 83

We had the band on for a week with no improvement. She is tiny compared to the others she hatched 11th April. I don't want to push it if she's just miserable. But she's really good at using the wind instead of her leg! She'll be lop sided for a whole at best. It doesn't seem dead either. Or I'd...
