    Smelly egg?

    i have a bantam that's broody too. She has 8 eggs under her and I candled one and it smells. Is it bad?

    My hens are half old english game, the other half is a mix of bantum breeds. My rooster is half austrolorpe and bantum. He is very sweet and dotes on his hen, always feeds her first.

    Leave the eggs where she wants them. Mark them so that you can tell that they are hers and take the ones that aren't marked out. I have a hen that has 4 chicks, they can go through the wire, the hen calls them but they do not come all the time.

    I am new here although I've looked at the forum a lot. I'm a teenager and I've raised chickens for 3 years all by myself. Right now I have 11 australorps hens and one rooster. Those are our egg layers. But my babies are my bantums. I have one rooster, 2 hens and 4 chicks right now. I love chickens!
