    Also, I have a sheet covering the crate so nothing spooks her further i.e. dogs.

    Thank you so much for your response. I have her in a small dog crate with a heating pad under a puppy pad and pine chips. She hasn't tried to eat or drink yet but I will give her a bit more time to settle down and if she still doesn't drink out comes the medicine dropper. Good perks to being an RN.

They won't let her in when they all huddle together and when she goes to the water or food bowls they peck at her nonstop.     I have enjoyed my first experience with my chicks so much. Whenever I approach the brooder I kneel down and talk to them at their level and they come right to me. I have placed a radio near the brooder and they chirp away. Has anyone heard of this or am I just thinking they like it. Thanks...
