    Blue Ameraucana thread!

    I have a Blue Ameraucana that has this coloring is this normal I have 2 others that are a more uniform lighter blue. Will it change to all of one color or remain the two toned of light and dark? My Ameraucana did not lay until she was 30 weeks old I told her if she did not start paying her way...

    When should chicks peck through the shell? URGENT !!!!

    I have 2 eggs In incubator now and they just decided to pip on the 22 day and one is out and the other is half through and resting for a minute. Good Luck with the babies

    Hi congratulations on the new chicks I have never used a heat lamp with a mama before for me the mama hen kept hem warm enough but that does not mean someone else has used one . I am sure someone with more knowledge will answer you. if it were me no I would not

    Thanks for all the info I cut the cord and put medicine on it and then left it in incubator took it out today and it is rough looking but it is eating and drinking I did not help it at any time until I cut the cord poor little guy has dried stuff on its feathers but am waiting to clean it up let...

    I have a chick hatched last night there is still yolk in the bottom part of shell the baby is still connected by cord but is out of shell and the yolk is drying is there anything I can do to help it chick not looking good
