    Does anyone know of any differences between the Silver gray dorkings and the Red dorkings other than the color ?

    Double yolkers

    Thanks Flock master, that old-timer was my late Dad and I was hoping he was right. My in-laws live next door to me with a small farm and their hens are molting right now. I told her we might see some doubles when they resume their regular laying habits. She said she`d never heard that one before...

    An old timer once told me years ago that after the molt is when you can most expect to see double yolkers. Does anyone know if there`s any truth in that theory ?
