It's not really clear just gooey looking. The abdomen is closed. Everything looks normal except it's bottom. I did notice the vent area is small and red. It's a very strong willed baby with great lungs! I'm hoping things will dry in the brooder over night.
Thank you. I put it in a small cardboard box with little windows cut out and a medicine cap with water and with food under the heat lamp in the brooder with the others for now.
One of my babies has a gooey looking string from it's bottom with a little shell stuck to it. It's not red which makes me think it's yolk. Should I leave it in the incubator instead of with the other babies? If so should I adjust the humidity level to help it dry out? The baby is chirping and...
