For a run roof, “clear poly” usually means either polycarbonate panels (rigid) or greenhouse film (flexible).
Panels last longer and handle hail/wind better, but cost more and need framing.
Greenhouse film is cheaper and easy to stretch over a frame, but the lifespan depends a lot on UV rating...
