I have a blue andalusian that makes the loudest min-dinosaur sounds as well, sometimes for no reason at all. I think she gets a kick out of it because none of the other chickens can make those sounds 😅

Butter's comb is actually smaller in size than the ones on 2 of my laying hens. They started had bright thick combs for a while and then started wearing floppy "berets" right after laying 😅 so maybe there is just some strange hormone thing happening. Definitely no rooster feathers though.
I agree, it is totally possible it pulled most of the info from here--but the real advantage was the creation of hour-by-hour schedule of what to do that could get updated in real time based on changes to symptoms/changes as they were observed. AI is certainly not foolproof, however.
