Sad day today. My wife called me and said when she went in our backyard all 5 of our chickens were torn to bits. I presume a coyote. I lost a chicken from heat last year and vowed to never let it happen again. it was that day last year it got to 117. Poor girl was laying in the water bowl. I have 2 new, three week, old Ameraucanas. I have a flock of 5 full size hens. right now my wife has them under a heat lamp in the house in a rubbermaide. She and I were wondering if it would be safe to put them in with the flock in the nesting box? Thoughts?- GREG BOAM
