We have a silkie rooster, and for about a month he has been mating with several of our hens. So far none of the hens have produced any eggs,fertile or not. This is our first attempt at producing chicks.We"re new at this so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

I have a young hen [ 3 mo. old] She won't stand up. I can't see any obvious abnormalties to her legs. She eats and drinks well. She just won't stand. Our vet does'nt treat birds but was good enough to look at her. However, he could'nt offer much help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
