Medium white patch on rhe left, start3d out 3 days ago and now has a raw looking center... Also faint whitish blotches and few spots on his left side. Thought it might have been related ton3 cold nights, but had not gotten better on right, and left seems to have spthis.

Change to Hemp hurd....absorbs the wet parts, stays dry, easily scoopable (i use kitty litter svoop), and no smell. Just add to occassionally and change out every few months.
I have used hemp hurd in my coop since bringing in my chicks in April...love it, stays dry, stay clean and easy to sift poop, not dusty, doesn't have to be cleaned out daily or even monthly. Lasts for months with just added to on top (the deep litter method). More costly up front than most...
