i feed them organic layer feed with no corn. 16-17% protein.. two eggs everyday since march..5 hens.. snacks , they are out free ranging for 1-2 hours daily.. and get some raisins for snacks when we need them to go back in. sometimes they get left over greens, or canalope,
my goldens stopped laying late November.. we would get one once in a while.. we have 6.. now that we are through spring and they are now 1 yr old we have 5 , a hawk got one, and we are only getting 2 eggs daily.. not 100% sure but think they are from he same 2 hens... they eat good food...plenty...
She is a girl and a pretty one.. If a Roo would have larger wattles and comb, much bigger and much lighter,, and the back feathers will not be nicely formed and rounded
