    I also use use Sevin-dust on the ground under ALL my cages. Also on chicken that have a severe mite/lice problem. DE works in coop and covered run. but useless where it can get wet. Been using Sevin in garden for 20 years+, on chicken 3 years+

    3ft per chicken, more if you can, so a 9ftx9ft would be the smallest I would go. and a part of it needs to be kinda high. The high part will be the roost, needs to be at least 6-7ft IMO

    Turkeys grow at a lot slower pace then chickens. So most likely would get picked on and or killed. I would personally raise the turkey on my own and leave the chickens in with the other ones

    Just a 6'x2' run itself would hold 5-6hens to 1 roo each easy. I used to hold a 4:1 setup in 3'x2' setup and they acted happy.

    Did you put the turkey in same day? Turkey usually take 28 days. Chicken only take 21.

    I have had a 120* spike for a few hours. and still 80%+ hatch rate. If it is time you can water test them. They should float and wiggle like crazy.

    Thats what i have noticed, 31 quail now in a matter of 9-10 hours. With my chickens its nothing like that.
