A little info :
She's had a litter before - this would be number 2...
She has been in with the male for almost 2 years now...
I thought she was preggo but the last time I 'saw' them breeding was in early Sept. So I figured that she wasn't and I was wrong.
I went out to check on her tonight and...
I was wondering what everyone thought of his comb and the brown flecks (just a few) that are mixed in his feathers. Would he be DQ'd for either of those? Thanks :)
Ack! white earlobes. So yeah - I agree - Brown leghorn crossed with ?
I'm not sure what breed of chickens are common in Iran.
Are they the same (for the most part) as over here in the states?
bought as a chick from a local breeder. I'm questioning the small brown flecks he has mixed in. He doesn't have very many but he's not a solid black. Would he be DQ'd for them? Thoughts? I guess I'm asking if I should still call him an ameraucana or if he should be an EE :/
I have black spanish x with royal palm. They look more black spanish than palm. I lost my BS tom to a raccoon so these are crossed with my RP tom. They hatched on 4/22/12. Let me know if your interested and Ill bring them. I have 2 left.
Ha! Not a happy bird tonight. She was less than thrilled when I took a few pictures of her/him ;)
Legs and feet are pink - with 4 toes. A wheaten? Hmmm I don't have any of those and haven't hatched any wheaten eggs (well not on purpose *L*)
but s/he doesnt look like anything else we have so...
S/he is at least 2 or 3 months now and pretty small. About 6-7 inches tall, very friendly (more so than any other bird we have) and has a very pretty sounding noise - like a wild bird or a house pet. Any ideas?
