    Advice please (sour crop)

So unfortunately, you have a kid with a problem crop; this is probably gonna be a battle for the rest of her life. I've had one with a crop like that and it was a battle her whole life but she lived to be almost five years old. Did they by chance take x rays to see if there was a blockage down...

    Advice please (sour crop)

There is more than likely a block in the gizzard. Some people like myself will use 1mL on pineapple juice (100%, the can is best). It clears them right out. She'll have the runs for a day cause it's eats the bacteria. HOWEVER, you can't give them more than 1 within 72 hours or the acidity will...

    Advice please (sour crop)

Look up the title Sour Crop. There is a ton of great advise. First separate her and no food or water for 24 hrs and lightly massage her crop to get it moving. If it doesn't empty that you'll need to give her antibiotics for yeast. There is a couple articles on here that helped me out.

    Causes of sour crop

I provide grit although mine free range. It's a "clean" rock so it's better for them. I have 2 girls with chronic crop issues. It's just the 2, all the rest are fine. They are like tiny humans as in the fact they are all different, so all the rest are healthy but she may have chronic issues...

    Raising a blind chick

It's taken my girl almost 2 years to be able to use her big girl roost... usually she is on a log we cut in half and wrap a blanket around so she is stable, but close to the ground so she can't get hurt... she'll learn, just takes lots of love, time and patience!!!!

    Raising a blind chick

With my experience, you just have to make sure everything is in the same exact spot. She is learning already where everything is, so don't change a thing. Also, if you need a bigger area for her, make sure to expand it slowly so she can accommodate to it. I have 5 house chickens and the key is...

Chick born Cross Beak and Blind

How are they doing? Also with blindness the key is to leave everything in the same exact spot every time you clean or anything. They actually will learn to find their water and food, it just takes a lot of time and patience!!!
