Well that really sucks. We've been feeding her like the other ones, same kind of feed. Some people suggested age was "top hen" and ate first which would have been better then her being a meat bird. We wanted all layers. I guess lesson learned is"don't let the kids pick without knowing...
I also have this problem with one of mine. They were grouped separately at the tractor supply by us but my fiances son picked three from different bins. They also all had signs on them saying their names and a board with all chickens on them and what their for. We just didn't pay attention...
