Ok. I have washed him once..I used warm water and tried to get the sticky off with q-tips. When he hatched, I never dreamed he would make it through the night but he did. He seems really active and tries to stand and wobble but he can’t get anywhere- Haleyn

We use a heat lamp. This is only our second attempt using incubator. We prefer to let the hens do the work but the hen to these had eaten two of her eggs and we hated to risk losing them. I will definitely lay him on a soft cloth to prevent him from laying on the bars. Thank you.- Haleyn

That’s what I have been doing. He has been in there right at 25 hours. Temp is 100.0 ? Should it be warmer or cooler or anything?- Haleyn

I did dry him well. I have him on a damp paper towel in incubator to prevent him from sticking to the bars at the bottom. I don’t have any drench but can get some if needed. And no other eggs hatching..when I helped him I am sure it has caused other eggs not to hatch. Give me a few minutes and I...- Haleyn

so had one chick hatch and the other had pipped but it had been 24 hours and still hadn’t made any progress...chick was chirping and all but just seemed stuck and membranes looked dry. I decided to help the chick out of egg..there was no blood and no yoke. Chick is bag in incubator but is sticky...- Haleyn
