    I'm not sure if the pictures show it, but I have 2 barrels that fill up from rain the supply the water using a float valve. I do remember carrying 5 gallon buckets of water as a kid. Didn't want to worry about that. I will have to carry water this winter as I will need to empty the barrels...

    Thanks for the welcome and I have learned more from this site then I thought I knew. They are 8 weeks old now. Made the coop from 1 x 8 I had, the run is about 75 sq ft. I did put 2 strands of electric fence outside at the bottom to deter dogs, opossums etc. Before paint. 8 nesting boxes...
