    I bought from Meyer. You all have been so patient and helpful with my questions. :) I’m happy whatever they are I just can’t find articles on whether CL are ALL crested or whether some may not have crests. They look so similar, except for the crests.

    Meyer hatchery just sent replacements for my “Rare Breed” chicks that died in shipment. I have no idea from the identifier what these are. Is it just impossible to tell so young? No feathered legs. I’m guessing #2 is an EE?

    We got a mixed lot of chicks from Meyer Hatchery. Any ideas on what this one might be and sex? Most of the birds we got have two of the same but this one is different from all the rest. I’ve looked through their catalogue but can’t find an exact match. Hatch date was March 22.

    I bought some assorted rare breeds that are now about ten days old. One is jet black with a white chest and I just noticed she’s getting feathering on her legs and feet. Her body shape looks nothing like our white Cochins. Any ideas on what she might be?
