    I know this is an old thread but I have been trying to establish a flock of Erminettes in north central Kansas. My uncle had been working on the breed when he passed in 2020. I have taken over his passion for the breed. Would love to connect with other breeders.

    Red skin on Rooster

    I noticed lack of feathers on the roosters neck and once I was able to catch him found this also. I don’t see mites & he has been treated for them just Incase. What could it be & how to treat it.

    Rooster or Hen

    This chicken was born in July 2024. Bought it as a rooster. What do you think? Shouldn’t it be crowing by now, lol. Maybe a late bloomer????
