My human door fits me… but I have to walk in sideways while carrying a bag of feed. I definitely would have put in a double door or made the opening a few inches wider.
I’ve had khaki campbells, a Cayuga, buffs, and black and blue Swedish and they all stumble over themselves running away from me if I so much as look at them the wrong way. But if I stay still and crouch they’ll wander over to me.
How exciting! I don’t have experience incubating super dark eggs, but I have hatched a few clutches of blue/ green eggs. It looks like there’s development in all but one (the lightest egg of all four photos). I’d monitor that one for another day or two and remove it if there’s no change.

Here’s my set up, wrapped up for winter! I built before deciding my flock would free-range (on nearly 5 acres), so now my birds only go back to the run/coop to roost.. which meant I suddenly had “more space” 😅
My chickens love a carcass after I’ve made stock! It used to make me squeamish but where I’m at, the alternative would be to throw it into the trash (I don’t usually put meat scraps in my compost) so I’m happier having them clean up instead
