Yeah. I have a lamp, It stays at 90-95 degrees. The others are thriving and doing quite well but she sadly had passed. I believe she had drank water too fast and it had entered her lungs because she seemed dehydrated last night ( we got them yesterday afternoon) .
Hello, we are new to having chicks and I've had a bit of an issue. I got up this morning and noticed one chick out of my 3 (the rest are acting totally normal) is not moving around much and acting odd, he was just lying there like she was very tired. When I picked him up I noticed quite a bit...
I’m positive it’s my incubation that was the issue. I was hoping to hatch but if I have to just get pullets I will. I could never get my humidity up so I blame myself. It always said temperature was fine but I’m not sure. I’m probably just going to leave hatching to the pros after this haha
I candles them all and I’m almost positive they aren’t good.. I’m going to break open the ones obviously undeveloped and leave the most developed 3 in for a few more days
those are the 2 most developed eggs I have so if those are dead the rest definitely are. This is my first hatch so I didn't expect much but it's still sad. I haven't opened any but I'm going to in a bit with the obviously under developed ones

I'm at day 22 and none of them have piped. Some of them look developed but others are obviously dead. I did the float test and most floated low with only the air pocket out but none rocked or shook. Should I wait? The first 2 are my most developed and the rest are like the second 2.
I’m not sure what exactly I’m looking for. I’ve looked online but its not helping much. Can some of you respond with some pics of healthy eggs at 7 days and dead eggs? Some of my eggs have small veins and look good but others are large somewhat dark spots and wondering if these were normal. I...
I’ve grownup with boxers and I 100% agree they are so sweet which is part of the reason I believe they would get along if introducing them at a young age.
I set up my incubator and everything is perfect exept my humidity just won't increase!! My temp/humidity meter says It's at 16% so I put a bowl of soaking wet paper towels with a tad bit of water at the bottom in and it's still not rising, and actually decreased. Any help? It goes up when I...
We are definitely not letting then walk around them freely
I agree with not letting them walk around them like that so the chicks will probably be in our hold or on my lap to minimize risk.
