    Hey! Our hens were laying great until the time change and now we haven’t gotten any eggs since November started. Any tricks to get them to lay a little more?

    When to integrate new chicks

    Hey so we have two 6 or 7 week chicks we want to integrate into our flock. We let them Free range together every once and a while and when we do one of our RIR pecks super hard and pulls feathers! Is this normal pecking order things or should we be doing something different?

    I’m not sure what’s happening with our chicken still? Could she have merrecks disease? She’s Not any better than yesterday and her feet don’t seem to be working ok. She’s walking on her legs kinda like a shuffle. We’re new to chickens so any help is much appreciated! She’s a 17 week old cuckoo maran

    She’s looking like she’s in pain if she tries to walk, when we looked at her legs today she seemed fine when i was touching them!

    Hey! One of our marans is just squatting this Morning. She’s about 17 weeks old so I’m wondering if she’s going to start laying soon? Or she hurt her leg?? Any thoughts?
