    What is your favorite breed of all time and why?

    My top 3 favorite breeds are Australorps, ISA Browns and Easter Eggers! Friendly, not skittish and Great foragers! Mine are all fantasic egg layers! I love that the Easter Eggers come in so many different colors too! This Spring I’m hoping to add some Buff Orpingtons to my flock :p

    I thought the same thing when I started giving it to them! Lol I haven’t noticed any taste at all!

    Garlic is actually very beneficial to chickens. I smash the cloves and give it to them. Helps with parasites. Mine go crazy over it!

    Gender help

    Out of my 4 “Ameraucanas”/ EEs (2 Hens, 2 Roosters) I think only 2 are TRUE ameraucanas and I only kind of know that from other people’s opinion Lol I was bummed too!! And YES, I agree it is very hard to find true ones!

    My favorite boy! I can’t even sit in a chair without him jumping in my lap. I adore this guy and so do my hens! Name: Jesse James Age: A little over a year I rescued him from being on a dinner plate. I couldn’t resist him, he was too sweet! Lol
