We live on a farm situated in the beautiful Kwazulu Natal Midlands, South Africa. I've been keeping chickens ever since 2009. It started out with a couple of egg layers, providing my family with eggs as well as an extra source of income. I started becoming interested in breeding chickens in 2015.

When I started my research into the world of show chickens, I immediately fell in love with Orpingtons. I started out with a small flock, and since then have kept numerous breeds, finally sticking with my two favorites, Orpingtons and Pekin Bantams.

I'm always interested in finding out about all the other wonderful breeds out there, and giving them a try. My chickens aren't just livestock to me. They are my babies, and I love them all to bits. <3
