    One of my female ducks will do this when she sees me coming and wants food. She also dies it when she wants to go in her shed at night. I think she's just being sociable :-)

    My 5 month old Leghorn hen is crowing like a rooster!!!!

    Our 2 Peking ducks began laying at 5 months old. Some days we get zilch other days we get anywhere from 1_recently 5 eggs a day! I have NO IDEA how this comes about. We also have 3 males.
  10. For all the work of raising these guineas over 3 months I would caution you they are NOT SMART. I did every good thing I read about for them. they were cooped for 2 months and a half. they were given plenty of millet seed to make them come home to roost. when they wouldn't come back into the coop I even put a small flashlight inside as I had read. Guineas are not very bright. They ran all over at dusk. I netted 2 back into the coop. When I tried to catch more, they ran under the barbed wire fence out into the pasture. Around 10 pm the coyotes made dinner out of five!
