    thank you! When are they feathered out, and don’t need the supplemental heat? I have no way to give them supplemental heat outside. Otherwise, I’d evict the little cuties from my son’s room tonight! 🤣

    She isn’t. She actually is quiet when we hold her and she falls asleep. We’ve been taking turns holding her to keep her on her belly. Yes it will be sad if we have to cull. I’ve never done it before. But if she seems like she is suffering or doesn’t improve I will do it.

    Great idea. I just did it. Instead of putting a lid and poking holes I just put the container into the incubator. Should I be concerned she will get too hot this way? I don’t want to do the lid because I want to be able to see her in case she manages to get out of the sock or onto her back. I...

    I took a video so you could see how quick she is to flip herself back over, but it isn’t letting me post it. I don’t know why. She is dry now. I wonder if it would be good for me to just hold her in my hand for awhile on her stomach, to maybe get her balance to improve that way?

    I put her In a sock and she crawled out. Then she flipped herself back over onto her back. she crawled out really fast and chirped a lot. Seem like a good sign.
