    Meyer Hatcherie ?

    I really like Meyer. I ordered our 25 pullet chicks from them and only got one roo. Pretty good! 24 of them arrived in perfect health, one was a tad sickly, but it cleared up in two days. Mine free-range and turned into 24 lovely hens and 1 handsome roo.

    golden campines?

    I have a little campine hen, she's a little flighty, but not NEAR as bad as some other small breeds I own. She lays and egg for me every 3 days or so, not bad....:) Mine also only lays in spring and summer. But what are ornamental breeds for anyway? If you want eggs you get layers, not campines. :)

    When we got our sumatra chicks, they had quite a bit of white on therm, but as they grew, they all changed to that nice shiny black. So I wouldn't worry about it!
