    2018 hatch along

    So I failed during my first hatch. I came close but I think something during development happened and two chicks hatched and died later. I was using a homemade incubator but now I bought a Janoel 12. I put in 9 last night. Here’s hoping for a success this time !

    So the chick did hatch but I could tell when it came out something wasn’t right. It’s lower part look distended and it couldn’t stand or lift its head. I’ve had one more hatch and it’s done the same thing. They are so vibrant and alive in the eggs. I don’t know why they are coming out like this !

    Hatching chicks keep dying

    this is my first time incubating. I’ve had two chicks hatch but then hours later they die. When they’ve come out they can’t stand up or lift their heads. Anyone have ideas why they keep dying ?
