The Orange County Board of Commissioners met this week and voted against having backyard chickens. The vote was 4 against and 2 for. The mayor, Teresa Jacobs, was not in attendance and I believe she was for the ordinance. If so, the vote would have been 4 against and 3 for, only one vote away...
