    ok , not the feather on top of the back by the tail, sort of underneath those? I posted a pic of my welsummer a few days ago and everyone said he was a roo, his comb is bright red too and no one elses is. Thank you for the help!

    thank you firewifejess, I saw that CL add this morning but I am too far away :( My husband would kill me if I drove all the way up there for more chickens lol since he doesnt want me to get more anyway! My inlaws live up there so maybe I will make him go up there and kill two birds with one stone!

    I have been having one heck of a time finding a EE pullet! I think a wels will be easy to replace, but of course the guy who will take the roo back, doesnt have any left :(
