Anyone know if this red area on a chick is normal?
It almost looks like this chick has jowls, but they are red. This is one of 9 chicks I have. I bought 8 and 1 was a lone survivor of an incubator hatch. The chicks are 4 weeks old. Does the chick look okay? They’re all active chicks. I don’t know what type of chicken it is either, so if anyone...- HatchingFun22

I will definitely not be eating him 😬🤣 I am too worried about what killed him to eat him. They ate lots of table scraps, crumble and pellets from the family farm store, and eggs from the coop.
