    I know this thread is slightly older, but we're getting really cold after really warm weather, and I have a few "bare butt" chickens. What brand of flat panel heater are you using?

    Just a wondering about the appearance of one chick

    Not exactly sure what breed these guys are - some are red, some have brown stripes. Anyway, we're approaching the approximately 4 week mark (some are younger than we were told, different hatch batch) and while everyone else is starting to look "chickeny", this one looks more like a prairie...
