    24 weeks old been laying for about 5 weeks now. The only thing that has upset them is yesterday the neighbours had a BBQ which they weren't too impressed with. And their nice was crying a lot which seemed to upset them but other than that, nothing.

    No they were straight away clucking. Meanwhile Korma still tweets like a tiny little thing even though she isn't far off being bigger than the other two. Pic of the three of them just now asking dad what treat he might offer them. And a pic of my photogenic baby girl.

    I have a 17 week old black copper Maran. She's still only making tweet chirping sounds and no chicken noises at all. Is this normal? My slightly older Orpington and black tail were making chicken noises from when we first got them which was around 17 weeks old.

    Hubby does the main work with them, but I try to spend time each day giving them treats etc so they know I'm part of the team.

    At the moment it's around 10ftx10ft. Currently growing grass in the garden to give them more space. The area they had was quite a bit larger but she is fine with my husband, she's only like it with me.
