    Help! Something just killed 7 layers!!! (Picture that might be considered graphic)

    Hi, Im from New Zealand and have had stoats kill our guinea pigs in the past, they chewed through the back of their necks, almost decapitating them. I see one hen has her head gone! Do you have stoats around your area?

    Eyes swollen shut, yellow discharge out of nose, slightly raspy

    This may not work but could soothe her, try strong, cold tea on a cotton ball, soak it and wipe her eyes. Works a treat on kittens with gunky eyes. Little trick we use down here in New Zealand ☺️

    Rooster needs help!

    Hi, I use a tiny drop of cattle drench, applied to the chicken at base of neck, to prevent internal and external parasites on my chickens. But be very careful not to over do it. I have seen lambs have seizures because of excess (oral) drench.

    Brooder seems hot

    Hi, I have a black bulb in my brooder box and it's seems so hot, I have used it before and didn't notice the heat so high, the roof of the brooder and cord seems soooooo warm. Is this normal. I put a thermometer in the box under bulb and it's 35 Celcius. But the actual bulb and cord is hot
